Moot Court went well. We spent five days in Vegas (my first time ever) for the competition. We argued our three rounds of prelims on Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday morning. After round three, we were seeded 8th (yay!) and advanced to round 4. We had a really awful round 4 judge who took over the round and steam-rolled each of us, one at a time. Naturally, I had to argue last, so I watched as each person was squished one-by-one before getting up to argue my position. It was not my finest fourteen minutes, but my team and I were proud with our performance... AND now it's over!
Another piece of fantastic news: after waiting about a month to hear, I learned that I will be the Editor in Chief of my school's Law Review next year :D. Basically this means that my third and final year of law school will be spent editing articles and citations, working with authors/board members/staffers and overseeing the entire publication of our Law Review. I am still not 100% sure about everything I will be required to do, but I am pretty excited about it.
Anyway, I have to go - no class today, but I'm working on my law review article (due at the end of the month), class reading for tomorrow and an article that I'm cite-checking as a work-study job. Hopefully going to fit a run in there somewhere.
